Adderall and Tramadol on Drug Tests
January 2nd, 2007 by ddetox
Will Adderall cause a false positive on a urine analysis?
Yes, Adderall contains amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, which are stimulants.
Some commonly used brands for amphetamine: Adderall (amphetamine and dextroamphetamine), Desoxyn (methamphetamine), Dexedrine, Dextrostat (dextroamphetamine).
Will taking Tramadol cause me to test positive on a drug test?
The effects of tramadol are similar to effects of narcotic analgesics, but tramadol is not a narcotic. Tramadol is an opioid, the chemical structure of tramadol (ultram) differs significantly from that of morphine. And so, tramadol alone will not show positive for opiates on a urine drug test. Tramadol concentrations: see tableIX here (.pdf).
